Using the Golden Flask is super simple. Just open the bottle and pop it in the microwave for about 10 seconds to heat it up to body temperature. It includes a temperature strip on one side of the flask and your goal is to get the indicator to read between 94 and 100 degrees. If the strip remains black but the urine is definitely warm, you may have overheated it. No worries – just let it cool down a bit until you see the indicator appear. When the sample is between 94-100 degrees, attach the included hand warmer to the flask with the rubber band (on the opposite side from the temperature strip). This will keep the sample warm for at least 6 hours. When you’re ready to deliver your urine, double check that the indicator shows a number between 94-100 degrees, open the flip-top cap and empty the fluid where you need it.

Golden Flask Synthetic Urine comes with a one year shelf life, but it’s important you don’t open the bottle until you’re ready to use it. Once opened, the sample should be used within 24 hours of removing the cap, otherwise the synthetic urine will start to break down and decay when exposed to air – just like normal human urine would.
